Committees

COMMITTEES

The member structure of our organization provides opportunities for membership participation within the geographically organized chartered groups: Regions, and their subgroups, Networks. Our members enjoy membership in the National Organization of Italian American Women and geographically designated NOIAW Regions and Networks where they are chartered.
Members are also encouraged to participate on the Annual Fund Raiser/Conference Subcommittees which are initiatives of the National Board of Directors.
Committee Chairs listed below are National Board members who serve in an advisory capacity to Regions and Networks.

*Program Committee provides cultural and educational programs for the benefit of the membership and community at large.

*Membership Committee is responsible for the planning events and programs to attract new members and maintain renewals for current members.
Betty Santangelo, Chair.

Scholarship Committee evaluates scholarship applications and selects qualified students for Scholarship Awards in the organization’s educational scholarship program.
Donna de Matteo, Chair.

Conference/Annual Fund Raiser Committee coordinates the activities and responsibilities of yearly fundraising events in association with the Organization’s annual event/bi-annual conference.
